Traditional hierarchies struggle with the complexity of a modern energy system. A schwarm — a swarm — has no central authority and no hierarchy, and yet it produces collective intelligence out of what each individual does.
That coordinated behaviour works toward a shared objective. Ours is the energy transition, and it is the same principle our software applies to an operation: many small, local decisions, made on live data, adding up to a system that steers itself.

Our history
From a Bay Area start to European production.
- 2017
Founded in San Francisco
SCHWARM Technologies started in San Francisco, building IoT and AI software for the energy industry out of the Bay Area technology base.
- 2020
Munich, and a million measurements a second
We established the European base in Munich, and passed a stress test at a customer site handling 1,000,000 measurements per second.
- Since 2023
In production at E.ON
SAIL has been in productive use at E.ON Energie Deutschland since 2023, with the platform now spanning four products.
